30-50. Candidates must be born between 02.01.1972 and 01.01.1992 (both dates included). No other age relaxation is applicable.

Educational Qualifications: • Second Class Engineer Certificate of Competency (Motor or Steam) issued by the Ministry of Shipping, Government of India or equivalent qualification. Technical Qualifications: • Four-year Engine Room Artificer Apprenticeship course conducted by the Indian Navy at INS Shivaji and 10 years of experience as an Engine Room Artificer in the Indian Navy (to be considered in the absence of the primary qualification). Experience Required: Two years of experience as an Engineer (for those with the primary qualification). Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable. Experience must be acquired after acquiring the basic educational qualification. Candidates belonging to SC/ST are exempted from the experience requirement, but they must acquire the experience after joining the service.

Appointments will be made based on the rank list prepared for this notification, subject to the rules of the Kerala State and Subordinate Services Rules. Candidates must provide confirmation for exams via their profile. False claims regarding qualifications or experience will lead to disciplinary action under Rule 22 of KPSC Rules of Procedure.
