Age limit

18-36. Candidates born between 02.01.1984 and 01.01.2002 (both dates included) are eligible. Usual age relaxation applies to SC/ST and Other Backward Communities. Note: Candidates who have successfully completed training at the Artificial Limb Centre attached to Thiruvananthapuram Medical College as per the Half-a-Million Job Programme are eligible for 5 years relaxation in the upper age limit. Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • SSLC pass • Certificate course in Orthotics and Prosthetics conducted by institutions recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India • OR Degree/Diploma in Orthotics and Prosthetics from institutions recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India Technical Qualifications: • In the absence of the above qualifications, candidates who have successfully completed ITI trades in Carpentry, Sheet Metal, or Fitter will be considered. If appointed, they will be treated as trainees for one year and paid the minimum scale of pay. Experience Required: Not specified Physical Standards: Not specified Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS & SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable. Equivalency orders must be produced at the time of verification.
