18-36. Candidates born between 02.01.1984 and 01.01.2002 (both dates included) are eligible. Usual age relaxation applies to SC/ST and Other Backward Communities. Note: Candidates who have successfully completed training at the Artificial Limb Centre attached to Thiruvananthapuram Medical College as per the Half-a-Million Job Programme are eligible for 5 years relaxation in the upper age limit.

Kerala PSC gives the age limit as a range of birth dates, for example “18–36: only candidates born between 02.01.1989 and 01.01.2007 (both dates included)”. Ages are counted on 1 January of the recruitment year, so an upper age of 36 in 2025 means you must be born on or after 2 January 1989. Relaxations move that earliest date back.
With relaxations, the upper age cannot go beyond 50.

Some notifications say relaxations do not apply, and the checker then uses the range as printed. By-transfer posts, special recruitments, NCA notifications and rules for widows are flagged with “Check the notification” instead of a verdict. The qualification guide compares levels only, not subjects. Always confirm in the official notification before you apply.
