Age Limit
Hearing Impairment and Low Vision candidates: 18-50 (born between 01.01.1964 and 01.01.1996); Locomotor Disability/Cerebral Palsy candidates: 18-46 (born between 01.01.1968 and 01.01.1996).
Qualifications
Educational Qualifications: • Group Certificate under KGTE or equivalent Examinations (Building Drawing, Building Construction, Survey and Irrigation) • A pass in eight subjects: Surveying and Leveling (Higher), Applied Mechanics (Higher), Building Material and Construction (Higher), Hydraulics and Irrigation (Higher), Building Drawing and Estimating (Higher), Earth Work and Road Making (Higher), Geometrical Drawing (Lower) or Practical Plane and Solid Geometry (Lower), Mensuration (Lower) • Diploma in Craftsmanship in the trade of ‘Draftsman (Civil)’ or ‘Surveyor’ obtained after 18 months course • Diploma in Civil Engineering (2 year course) of the Women’s Polytechnic of the State Experience Required: 6 months practical training required for ITI Diploma holders (with provisions for provisional appointment) Physical Standards: None Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 (a)(ii) of Part II, KS & SSR is applicable.
