Age Limit
1. Hearing Impairment and Low Vision candidates: 18 – 50; Only candidates born between 01.01.1997 and 02.01.1965 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for the post. 2. Locomotor Disability/Cerebral Palsy candidates: 18 – 46; Only candidates born between 01.01.1997 and 02.01.1969 (both dates included) are eligible for this post.
Qualifications
Educational Qualifications: • Group Certificate under KGTE or equivalent Examinations (include all the four groups viz. Building Drawing, Building Construction, Survey and Irrigation). • A pass in eight subjects, namely: i) Surveying and Leveling (Higher) ii) Applied Mechanics (Higher) iii) Building Material and Construction (Higher) iv) Hydraulics and Irrigation (Higher) v) Building Drawing and Estimating (Higher) vi) Earth Work and Road Making (Higher) vii) Geometrical Drawing (Lower) or Practical Plane and Solid Geometry (Lower) viii) Mensuration (Lower). • Diploma in Craftsmanship in the trade of ‘Draftsman (Civil)’ or ‘Surveyor’ obtained after 18 months course (followed by 6 months practical training) at the Industrial Training Institutes/Centres conducted by the Government of India, Ministry of Labour. • Diploma in Craftsmanship (Trade Test Certificate) in the Trade of Draftsman (Civil) awarded to private candidates without insisting on six months practical training. • Diploma in Civil Engineering (2 year course) of the Women’s Polytechnic of the State. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 (a)(ii) of Part II, KS & SSR is applicable.
Notes
The Ranked List prepared in pursuance of this notification is intended to make recruitment to the backlog vacancies earmarked for the various categories and PH groups as per GO (P) No 7/2011/SWD dated 24/01/2011 and will remain in force for a maximum period of three years. Rules 14 to 17 of Part II, KS&SSR are not applicable to this selection.
