20-39. Candidates must be born between 02.01.1982 and 01.01.2001 (both dates included). Usual age relaxation for SC/ST and other backward communities applies. For employees of Technical Education, Public Works, Public Health Engineering, Industries, and Architecture & Town Planning departments, the upper age limit is relaxable up to 50 years.
Qualifications
Educational Qualifications: ā€¢ B.E/B.Tech in the relevant branch ā€¢ M.E/M.Tech in the relevant branch Experience Required: None Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS & SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable. Candidates claiming equivalent qualifications must produce the Government Order/Certificate of equivalency from the concerned institution at the time of certificate verification.
Notes
Candidates must be in probation for two years within a continuous period of three years. Candidates are liable to serve in the Defence Services for at least four years including training period if required by the Government, provided they are not above 40 years of age. General conditions regarding One Time Registration, photo specifications, and exam confirmation apply.
