Age Limit

20-39. Only candidates born between 02.01.1982 and 01.01.2001 (both dates included) are eligible to apply with usual relaxation to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Communities. Officers of the Technical Education, Public Works, Public Health Engineering, Industries and Architecture and Town Planning Departments may also apply with age relaxation to the extent of their service (Maximum age limit shall not exceed 50 years as on 01.01.2021).

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • BE/B.Tech and ME/M.Tech in relevant branch with First Class or equivalent either in BE/B.Tech or ME/M.Tech. Experience Required: Not specified Physical Standards: Not specified Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 a(ii) of part II of KS&SSR is applicable. Candidates claiming equivalent qualification must produce the relevant Government Order/Equivalency Certificate from the institution concerned at the time of certificate verification.

Notes

Candidates must register via One Time Registration. Applications are provisional and cannot be altered after submission. Candidates must submit confirmation for writing the exam if a test is conducted. Disciplinary action as per KPSC Rule 22 will be taken for bogus claims. Probation period is two years on duty within a continuous period of three years. Liability to serve in Defence Services applies for a minimum of four years for those under 40 years of age.
