Age Limit
18-43 (For Ezhava/Thiyya/Billava: born between 02.01.1979 and 01.01.2004. For SC: 18-45, born between 02.01.1977 and 01.01.2004). Maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years including relaxations.
Qualifications
Educational Qualifications: • Degree in Arabic conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. • OR A Title of Oriental Learning in Arabic awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. • OR Pre-Degree with Part III Arabic (Special Optional) of the University of Calicut. • OR Plus Two Part III Arabic (Optional) course of the Higher Secondary Board, Kerala. • OR SSLC Examination of the Kerala Government with Arabic as First Language (First Paper and Second Paper) part I and II. • OR SSLC Examination or its equivalent and any of the following qualifications: 1) Arabic Munshi (Higher) Examination, 2) Arabic Munshi (Lower) Examination, 3) Arabic Teachers Examination, 4) Entrance Examination of the Kerala or Calicut Universities. Technical Qualifications: • Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (KTET-Category IV) for this post. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: B.A. Arabic & Islamic History (Double Main) Degree and KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) are applicable.

Applications submitted otherwise than online will be summarily rejected. Candidature of those not belonging to the notified reserved communities will be rejected without notice. Selection will be subject to special conditions in G.O. (MS) No. 154/71/PD dated 27.05.1971 regarding district-wise appointments.
