Category – i (Open Market) – 20-31: Only candidates born between 02.01.1988 and 01.01.1999 (both dates included). Category – ii (Constabulary) – 20-36: Only candidates born between 02.01.1983 and 01.01.1999 (both dates included).
Qualifications
Educational Qualifications: • Graduation • In the case of Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe candidates, if sufficient number of fully qualified candidates are not available, applications of those who have passed Pre University/Pre-Degree or equivalent Examinations of recognised University shall be considered only to fill up the quota reserved for them under Category (i). Physical Standards: Must be Physically fit. Height: 167 cm (Taller Persons will be given preference). Chest Measurement: 81 cm with minimum expansion of 5 cm. For SC/ST candidates: Height 160 cm, Chest 76 cm. Visual standards without glasses: Distant Vision 6/6 Snellen (Left & Right Eye), Near Vision 0.5 Snellen (Left & Right Eye). Must possess full field of vision without color blindness, squint, or morbid conditions. Must qualify Physical Efficiency Test (5 events out of 8). Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a)ii of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable. Candidates claiming equivalent qualifications must produce the relevant government order at the time of certificate verification.
Notes
As per Part II of Kerala State and Subordinate Service Rules. Candidates must submit confirmation for writing the examination. Probation period is two years on duty within a continuous period of three years.
