Category No: 299/2016 & 300/2016. Vacancies: Scheduled Caste – 1 (One) Cat No.299/2016; Scheduled Tribe – 1 (One) Cat No.300/2016. Scale of Pay: Rs.30700 – 65400. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (Only from candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste & Scheduled Tribe communities). Applications must be submitted online on or before 02-11-2016 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Bachelor Degree of a recognized University Experience Required: None Physical Standards: Must be physically fit. Height: at least 160 cms. Chest: 81.3 cms round the chest on full expiration with a minimum expansion of 5 cms. Vision: Distant Vision 6/6 Snellen, Near Vision 0.5 Snellen (without glasses). Must be free from colour blindness, squint, and other morbid conditions of the eyes or lids. Must be free from apparent physical defects like Knock-knee, Flat Foot, Varicose veins, Bow legs, Deformed limbs, irregular and protruding teeth, defective speech and hearing. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a)ii of Part II KS & SSR is applicable for this selection.

Candidates must qualify in at least 5 out of 8 items in the Physical Efficiency Test. Probation period is two years on duty within a continuous period of three years. Selected candidates must undergo training as prescribed by the Head of Department.
