Age Limit
21-50. Candidates born between 02.01.1969 and 01.01.1998 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post [including the relaxation as per para 2 (i) of General Conditions].
Qualifications
Educational Qualifications: • Literacy in Malayalam or Tamil or Kannada Technical Qualifications: • Must possess Current Motor Driving Licence with endorsement for driving Heavy Duty Vehicle and Motor Cycle • Driving Licence issued after 16.01.1979 must have endorsement both for Heavy Goods and Heavy Passenger Vehicles Experience Required: Must have three years experience in driving Heavy Duty vehicle either Military or Civil. Physical Standards: Ear: Hearing should be perfect. Eye: Distant vision 6/6 Snellen, Near vision 0.5 snellen, Colour Vision Normal, Night blindness Nil. Muscles and joints: No paralysis and all joints must be capable of free movement. Nervous System: Perfectly normal and free from any infectious diseases. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 (a)(ii) of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable.
Notes
Probation: Every person appointed to the post shall, from the date on which he joins duty, be on probation for a total period of 2 years on duty within continuous period of three years. Candidates must be Ex-Servicemen/Disembodied Territorial Army personnel.
