Age Limit
21-44. Candidates born between 02.01.1972 and 01.01.1995 (both dates included) are eligible to apply. Maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years.
Qualifications
Educational Qualifications: ā€¢ Literacy in Malayalam or Tamil or Kannada Technical Qualifications: ā€¢ Current Motor Driving Licence with endorsement for driving Heavy Duty Vehicle and Motor Cycle ā€¢ Must have three years experience in driving Heavy Duty vehicle either Military or Civil ā€¢ Driving Licence issued after 16.01.1979 must have endorsement both for heavy Goods and heavy passenger Vehicles Experience Required: Three years experience in driving Heavy Duty vehicle either Military or Civil. Physical Standards: Hearing should be perfect. Distant vision: 6/6 Snellen (both eyes), Near vision: 0.5 Snellen (both eyes), Colour Vision: Normal, Night blindness: Nil. No paralysis, all joints must be capable of free movement. Nervous system must be perfectly normal and free from infectious diseases. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 (a)(ii) of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable.
Notes
Selection on revenue district basis. Candidates must be Ex-Servicemen/Disembodied Territorial Army personnel. Candidates must be prepared to clean and oil the Motor Vehicles. Differently abled candidates are not eligible. Probation period of 2 years on duty within a continuous period of 3 years.
