Qualifications
Educational Qualifications: ā€¢ Literacy in Malayalam or Tamil or Kannada Technical Qualifications: ā€¢ Must possess Current Motor Driving Licence with endorsement for driving Heavy Duty Vehicle and Motor Cycle ā€¢ Must have three years experience in driving Heavy Duty vehicle either Military or Civil ā€¢ Driving Licence issued after 16.01.1979 must have endorsement both for heavy Goods and heavy passenger Vehicles Experience Required: Three years experience in driving Heavy Duty vehicle either Military or Civil. Physical Standards: Ear: Hearing should be perfect. Eye: Distant vision 6/6 Snellen, Colour vision: Normal, Near vision: 0.5 snellen, Night blindness: Nil. Muscles and joints: No paralysis and all joints must be capable of free movement. Nervous System: Perfectly normal and free from any infectious diseases. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a)ii of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable.
Notes
Every person appointed to the post shall, from the date on which he joins duty be on probation for a total period of 2 years on duty within continuous period of three years. Applications submitted by candidates belonging to communities other than those notified will be summarily rejected.
