Age Limit
21-42. Candidates born between 02.01.1972 and 01.01.1993 (both dates included) are eligible to apply. Relaxation as per General Conditions applies.
Qualifications
Educational Qualifications: ā€¢ Literacy in Malayalam or Tamil or Kannada Technical Qualifications: ā€¢ Current Motor Driving Licence with endorsement of driving Heavy Duty Vehicle and Motor Cycle ā€¢ Driving Licence issued after 16.01.1979 must have endorsement for both Heavy Goods and Heavy Passenger Vehicles Experience Required: Three years experience in driving Heavy Duty vehicle either Military or Civil. Physical Standards: Hearing should be perfect. Distant vision 6/6 Snellen, Near vision 0.5 Snellen, Normal colour vision, Nil night blindness. Muscles and joints must be capable of free movement. Nervous system must be perfectly normal and free from infectious diseases. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable.
Notes
Selection on revenue district basis. Probation period of 2 years on duty within a continuous period of 3 years. Candidates must be Ex-Servicemen/Disembodied Territorial Army personnel. Physically handicapped candidates are not eligible.
