Age Limit
18-43. Only candidates born between 02.01.1975 and 01.01.2000 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post (including relaxation as per para 2(i) of General Conditions). Upper age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years.
Qualifications
Educational Qualifications: ā€¢ A Degree in Sanskrit and B.Ed/BT/LT conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. ā€¢ OR A title of Oriental Learning in Sanskrit awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala and Certificate in Language Teachers Training issued by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala (titles declared equivalent to Part III of the degree accepted). ā€¢ Post Graduates in Sanskrit are also eligible to apply provided that they have B.Ed/B.T/L.T. ā€¢ Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS & SSR Part II Rule 10 a (ii) will be applicable for the post. Siksha Sastri Examination of the Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan and Siksha Sastri Examination of the Kameswar Singh Darbhanga University of Bihar treated as equivalent to B.Ed Degree.
Notes
Applications submitted by candidates belonging to communities other than notified will be rejected. Selection on revenue district basis. Regular rules on probation, transfer, and general conditions apply.
