19-44. Only candidates born between 2.1.1977 and 1.1.2002 (both dates are included) are eligible to apply for this post with usual relaxation to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and other Backward Communities.

Educational Qualifications: • S.S.L.C or its equivalent qualification. Technical Qualifications: • National Trade Certificate in the appropriate trade with three years experience in the trade after obtaining the certificate. • National Apprenticeship Certificate in the appropriate trade with one year experience after obtaining the certificate. • Diploma in the appropriate branch of Engineering from a Government or Government Recognized polytechnic or its equivalent qualification. Experience Required: Three years experience in the trade after obtaining the National Trade Certificate OR one year experience after obtaining the National Apprenticeship Certificate. The experience gained by a Workshop Attender in the trade can also be deemed to be qualifying experience. Candidates belonging to SC/ST are exempted from the qualification of experience. Physical Standards: Not specified Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 a (ii) of part II of KS&SSR is applicable. Candidates who claim equivalent qualification instead of qualification mentioned in the notification shall produce the relevant Government Order to prove the equivalency at the time of verification.

Candidates must register as per 'ONE TIME REGISTRATION' on the official website of Kerala Public Service Commission. Applications are provisional and subject to scrutiny. Original documents must be produced when called for. Candidates must submit confirmation for writing the examination if a test is conducted. Disciplinary action will be taken for bogus claims.
