Age Limit

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Pass in S.S.L.C or equivalent qualification Technical Qualifications: • SMT Overseer's course (2yrs course) • Draftsman course, College of Engineering Guindy • Group Certificate under KGTE/MGTE which include all the 4 groups viz Building, Drawing, Building construction, Survey & Irrigation • Alternatively a pass in the following 8 subjects: 1. Survey & Levelling (Higher), 2. Applied Mechanics (Higher), 3. Building Materials & Construction (Higher), 4. Hydraulics & Irrigation (Higher), 5. Building, Drawing and Estimating (Higher), 6. Earth Work & Road Making (Higher), 7. Geometrical Drawing (Lower) or Practical Plane & Solid Geometry (Lower), 8. Mensuration (Lower) • Kerala Government Certificate Examination in Civil Engineering • Successful completion of the Certificate course of college of Engineering, Trivandrum • National Trade Certificate in Draftsman (Civil) • A pass in the Overseer's course conducted by the Government of Kerala • Diploma in Civil Engineering (2yrs course) of the Women's Polytechnics of the state Experience Required: Not specified Physical Standards: Not specified Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 (a) ii of Part II KS &SSR is applicable. Candidates claiming equivalent qualification must produce relevant Government Order at the time of verification.
